As the Mission Arm of the Central Association of the Massachusetts Conference,
United Church of Christ, WAMS works with churches and others to take their mission/service efforts beyond the ordinary to:

• End homelessness in Central Massachusetts through an integrated set of programs in prevention, permanent housing creation, advocacy, and employment;

• Reach directly into inner city neighborhoods to help children improve their educational and social skills and become contributors to their community;

• Help youth in the greater Worcester area become caring adults by serving others, deepening their commitment to civic participation and social justice, and developing a greater sense of purpose for their lives;

• Expand our nation's environmental perspective to encompass orbital space which is now an essential but fragile natural resource.
